In the spirit of art and community found in the exhibition Village Square, chalk artists Stacy Nalapraya and Randall Williams will recreate a version of Edouard Manet's Young Woman in a Round Hat (c. 1877–79) outdoors on LACMA's Smidt Welcome Plaza. Drop in and witness its progress as this 19th-century portrait takes new form.
This program is part of Third Weekends at LACMA, a monthly line up of free and ticketed programs inspired by our collection and special exhibitions. Discover other Third Weekend programs.
