LACMA members are invited to join FILM at LACMA for a special screening of Spider-Noir, followed by a conversation with cinematographer Darran Tiernan; production designer Warren Alan Young; and co-showrunner, executive producer, and writer Oren Uziel; moderated by Jim Hemphill.
Spider-Noir tells the story of Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage), a seasoned, down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city’s one and only superhero.
This series is presented in both "Authentic Black & White" and "True-Hue Full Color" formats.
Spider-Noir has received eleven Emmy nominations including Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Period Or Fantasy Program (One Hour Or More), Outstanding Cinematography For A Series (One Hour), Outstanding Sound Editing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (One Hour), Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (One Hour), Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Single Episode, Outstanding Music Composition For A Series (Original Dramatic Score), and Outstanding Original Music And Lyrics.
