Family Art-Making Workshop: The Heart of Me

Join a free, drop-in intergenerational art workshops inspired by the exhibition From MacArthur Park, with Love, featuring work by Charles White Visual Arts LACMA Magnet student artists. Admission is free and no advance ticket required. All ages are welcome.
At this workshop, you'll explore identity and community with a creative, hands-on mapping experience. Design a personal heart-shaped map that reflects what matters most to you, highlighting meaningful places, relationships, and everyday experiences through drawing, collage, and color.
Street parking is available along with validated free parking in the parking structure behind the Charles White Elementary School at 611 S. Carondelet St., Los Angeles, CA 90057. Please present your parking ticket to LACMA security staff at the gallery for validation.
