Wes Anderson's The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou (2004) follows a renowned oceanographer and his crew as they seek revenge on the shark that killed a member of the team.
The theme for this season's film programs is inspired by the inaugural display of the new David Geffen Galleries, which explores networks of exchange around oceans and seas, creating connections across time and geography.
This program is part of Third Weekends at LACMA, a monthly line-up of free and ticketed programs inspired by our collection and special exhibitions.
