Join FILM at LACMA for a screening of KCET’s ARTBOUND documentary The Watts Towers Arts Center (57 minutes).
The Watts Towers Arts Center was founded by artists and educators in the 1960s and has been a beacon of art and culture in the community for decades. This episode features the work of artists including Noah Purifoy, John Outterbridge, Betye Saar, Charles White, and Mark Steven Greenfield. This program is presented in partnership with KCET’s ARTBOUND, the Emmy award-winning arts and culture documentary series that examines the lives, works, and creative processes of arts and culture innovators making an impact in Southern California and beyond.
