Celebrate L.A.'s finest jazz musicians with Jazz at LACMA, presented Friday evenings from May through October. This week, join us for a concert with the Joshua White Quartet.
Joshua White is an internationally acclaimed pianist and composer whose work bridges Western classical traditions and contemporary improvised music. He has been named a DownBeat Rising Star on keyboards in consecutive critics’ polls (2023 and 2024), marking him as one of the most compelling voices in modern jazz. A finalist in the Thelonious Monk International Piano Competition, he has since performed extensively across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. As a leader, he is best known for his trio with Karl McComas-Reichl and Tyler Kreutel, as well as his solo piano release Flora and Fauna: 9 Preludes for Solo Piano.
