Spend your Saturday evenings with world-renowned artists performing everything from Indigenous music to the latest sounds from Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, and Los Angeles! These free concerts are presented Saturday evenings from Memorial Day weekend in May to Labor Day weekend in September. This week, join us for a concert with Fausto Cuevas y La Moderna.
From Cuban guaguanco, yambu, salsa, cumbia, son, and cha cha cha, Fausto Cuevas y La Moderna’s unique blend of styles redefines the boundaries of today’s salsa bands. Cueva is a world-renown percussionist who has toured the world with artists ranging from Julio Iglesias to Cachao, Isaac Delgado to Marc Anthony. Cuevas has performed for President and Mrs. Obama at the White House as part of an All-Star Latin Band.
