Live from The Whitney: Operator's Human Unreadable Act III

  • Date:
  • Time: 10 AM – 11:30 AM
  • Location: W.M. Keck Plaza
  • Price: Free, RSVP required

LACMA will livestream the Whitney Museum’s world premiere of Human Unreadable Act III by the artist duo Operator. This live performance is the culmination of Human Unreadable, Operator's seminal generative choreography work unfolding in three acts since 2023. Act III is a multimedia performance and examination of the artists’ negotiations between the body, ambition, and technology.

The livestream is itself a work of broadcast art: a live-mixed transmission with multiple camera perspectives edited in real time, unique to each performance.

This program is part of Third Weekends at LACMA, a monthly line up of free and ticketed programs inspired by our collection and special exhibitions.
