Enjoy a slow guided walk through LACMA’s new gardens.
Museum educators and director of capital planning and construction Alexis SantaRomana will begin with a brief overview of LACMA's transformed campus and vision for its design before you can explore select areas at a relaxed pace with a map and prompts to observe and reflect on how the grounds shape your experience of the museum. Along the way, you’ll pause to notice details, engage your senses, and connect with your surroundings before coming together as a group for reflection and discussion.
Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and bring sun protection and water to stay comfortable throughout the walk.
Co-presented with AIA Los Angeles.
Go Metro. The D Line now brings you directly to LACMA (Wilshire/Fairfax Station). Plan your trip at Metro.net.
