LACMA members are invited to join FILM at LACMA for a special in-person screening of Bugonia and conversation with director and producer Yorgos Lanthimos, featured actor and producer Emma Stone, screenwriter Will Tracy, composer Jerskin Fendrix, and producers Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe.
Two conspiracy obsessed young men kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth.
Bugonia is directed by Yorgos Lanthimos from a script by Will Tracy. The cast includes Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone.
Bugonia has received four Academy Award nominations including; Best Picture, Best Actress - Emma Stone, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Score.
