Let’s Play: Chess at LACMA

  • Date:
  • Time: 12 PM – 3 PM
  • Location: Smidt Welcome Plaza
  • Price: Free, RSVP required

Come join other chess lovers and explore how art and play can create community as you learn or practice the game of kings at a session inspired by Max Ernst’s chess set on view in the David Geffen Galleries. Representatives from the Los Feliz Chess Club will be on hand to offer instruction and guidance to those who want it. All levels are welcome.

This program is part of Third Weekends at LACMA, a monthly line up of free and ticketed programs inspired by our collection and special exhibitions.

Go Metro. The D Line now brings you directly to LACMA (Wilshire/Fairfax Station). Plan your trip at Metro.net.
