A Conversation with Stephanie Shih
- Date:
- Time: 5 PM – 6 PM
- Location: David Geffen Galleries
- Price: Free, RSVP Required
Hear from artist Stephanie Shih and LACMA curator Susie Ferrell, who will discuss the artist’s practice and her 梅國 (Still life with chamoy and Dirty T Tamarindo). For this photographic work, which is now on view in the David Geffen Galleries’ presentation The Global Appeal of Blue-and-White Ceramics, Shih incorporated ceramics from LACMA’s permanent collection with decadent floral arrangements and confections.
This program is part of Third Weekends at LACMA, a monthly line up of free and ticketed programs inspired by our collection and special exhibitions.
Go Metro. The D Line now brings you directly to LACMA (Wilshire/Fairfax Station). Plan your trip at Metro.net.
