In Conversation: Guadalupe Rosales, Carolina Miranda, and Pilar Tompkins Rivas

  • Date:
  • Time: 6 PM – 7 PM
  • Location: David Geffen Galleries, Plaza Level
  • Price: Free, RSVP required

At this conversation about Los Angeles as muse, mirror, and home, artist Guadalupe Rosales—whose new memoir chronicles her Boyle Heights upbringing—will be joined by Carolina Miranda and Pilar Tompkins Rivas, two fellow art world veterans whose work has been equally shaped by the city. Moderated by LACMA curator Rita Gonzalez, they'll reflect on how L.A. has influenced their creative practices, their identities, and the communities they've built.

This program will take place outdoors on the plaza level of the David Geffen Galleries.

This program is part of Third Weekends at LACMA, a monthly line up of free and ticketed programs inspired by our collection and special exhibitions.
