By Metro Subway/Bus
The Wilshire/Fairfax station on the Metro D Line is located across the street from the museum.
Metro Local 20 and Rapid 720 buses on Wilshire Blvd. and Metro Local 217 and 218, and Rapid 780 buses on Fairfax Ave. stop within half a block of the museum.
La Cienega/Jefferson Station on the Metro E Line is 3 miles south of LACMA. From there, you can easily transfer onto the northbound Local 217 to Fairfax Ave. and Wilshire Blvd., half a block from LACMA.

By Car
From the Santa Monica Freeway (I-10): Take Fairfax Ave. north 2 miles to Wilshire Blvd.
From the Hollywood Freeway (US-101): Take Highland Avenue 3.5 miles south to Wilshire Blvd.; take a right on Wilshire and proceed 1 mile west.
By Bike
Bicycle racks are located on Wilshire Blvd. near the intersection of Spaulding Ave., and just inside the 6th St. gate.
Cyclists visiting LACMA during public museum hours may store their bikes in an onsite bike locker. To request access, please visit the Ticket Office and speak with a Visitor Services Associate, who will escort you to the locker location and secure your bike. When you’re ready to leave, an Associate will unlock the locker for you. The Ticket Office will record your name and cell phone number for reference.
