Winter Art Camp: Journeys Around the World (Ages 6–8)

  • Date:
  • Time: 10 AM – 3 PM
  • Price: $400; NexGenLA and LACMA members: $360

Enrollment for Winter Art Camp will open online on Wednesday, October 21, at 1 pm.

This art camp is designed for children ages 6–8; children ages 5 and under will not be admitted. Students must be the minimum age for their age group by the start of camp.

Embark on a creative journey and explore traditional art, vibrant patterns, and unique crafts from different cultures. Students will experiment with diverse mediums and techniques—from colorful textiles to clay sculptures inspired by ancient traditions. Every young explorer will take home a colorful collection of artwork and a new appreciation for creativity around the world! Taught by artist Jesus Mascorro.

This program will take place outdoors on LACMA's campus December 28–31. The ticket price covers all four camp dates. Thirty-minute parking validations are provided for the Pritzker Parking Garage on 6th Street. A supervised one-hour lunch break is scheduled outdoors daily. Please pack a nut-free lunch and water bottle every day.

Full refunds will only be granted if the art class is canceled by LACMA. Please notify us immediately if a student is unable to attend so that another student on our waiting list can attend class. A refund equal to half of tuition paid will be granted for cancellations made three weeks before class start date. No refunds for cancellations made less than three weeks prior to class start date.
