Enrollment Procedures for Art Camp
- Enrollment for Winter Art Camp will open online on Wednesday, November 12, at 1 pm.
- Art Camp is designed for children ages 6 and older; children ages 5 and under will not be admitted. Students must be the minimum age for their age group by the start of camp.
- Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited; camp does sell out.
- Registration is only available online. Note: account sign-up and login is necessary.
- If you do not have a My LACMA account, set one up and test it prior to registering.
- If you have a My LACMA account, we recommend testing it out by logging in prior to registering.
- L.A. County kids are eligible for discounted pricing through NexGenLA. Please note that NexGenLA enrollment cannot be expedited. We recommend submitting the enrollment form at least three weeks in advance to allow sufficient time for processing.
- Payment is required upon registration.

Information
- Due to construction, art camp will take place in gallery spaces and outdoors on LACMA's campus.
- Art Camp hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am–3 pm, with some exceptions.
- Students must wear comfortable clothes and shoes (no flip flops or skate shoes).
- A supervised one-hour lunch break is scheduled each day; please pack a nut-free lunch and water bottle every day.
- If your child has any allergies or special needs, please notify the Art Class Coordinator prior to the Art Camp start date.
- Personal items such as clothing and lunches should be labeled with the student’s name. No toys or games are permitted. We ask that students refrain from using cell phones during camp hours.

Cancellation Policy
A refund equal to half of tuition paid will be granted for cancellations made three weeks before camp start date. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than three weeks prior to camp start date. Please notify us immediately of any cancellations so that a child on our waitlist can attend camp. Full refunds will only be granted if the program is canceled or for medical reasons.
Parking
The Pritzker Parking Garage is accessible from 6th Street and Ogden Drive. Please bring your parking ticket for free 30-minute parking validation.
Please park and walk your child into the museum’s camp headquarters every day. Also, for the protection of your children, please inform us if you have made arrangements for another parent or caregiver to pick up or drop off your children for Art Camp.
Campers are introduced to a wide variety of materials and techniques to express themselves.

Children Ages 6–8
4 days: December 29, 30, 31, and January 2 | 10 am–3 pm
Paper, Pattern, Play (In-person, Indoors)
Get inspired by the exhibitions Golden State, Deep Cuts, and Grounded and explore the creative process through art-making activities and projects that focus on paper and pattern. Projects will include sketching outdoors and in the gallery, pattern seeking and creation, paper sculpture, and more. Taught by Elly Dallas.

5 days: January 5–9 | 10 am–3 pm
What's New at LACMA? (In-person, Indoors)
Explore the exhibitions, Collecting Impressionism at LACMA, Tavares Strachan, Deep Cuts, and more while you make connections between artists and artworks from different times and places and create art in a variety of media. Taught by artist Rosanne Kleinerman.
