Opening of the David Geffen Galleries
    April 17, 2026 | Los Angeles, California

10:00–11:30 AM
Jarl and Pamela Mohn Collection | Brentwood

Jarl and Pamela Mohn are art collectors and philanthropists deeply committed to supporting artists and arts institutions in Los Angeles. Longtime advocates for emerging and underrecognized L.A. artists, they have underwritten the Hammer Museum’s Made in L.A. biennial since its inaugural edition in 2012 and established the Mohn Awards for participating artists. A 2021 gift endowed future editions of the biennial.

In 2024, the Mohns launched the Mohn Art Collective (MAC3), a landmark collaboration between the UCLA Hammer Museum, LACMA, and The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. Established with a major gift of art and a supporting endowment, MAC3 is a shared collection of works by artists living and working in Los Angeles. The endowment supports annual acquisitions as well as the ongoing care and storage of the collection.
