Explore watercolor painting through the lens of Impressionism. Learn about the relationship between sunlight and color and how to mix colors, plan out a painting, and use artistic techniques for a successful watercolor. This is a great intro or refresher, open to all skill levels and anyone interested in learning about Impressionism in a hands-on way. Taught by Shannon Green.
This program takes place outdoors on LACMA's campus across five Sundays: February 22, March 1, 8, 15, and 22. Parking validation and supplies are provided. Please note, parking validations are only valid for the Pritzker Parking Garage on 6th Street.
Masks are strongly recommended indoors for everyone. Learn more about all of the museum's health and safety protocols.
Full refunds will only be granted if the art class is canceled by LACMA. Please notify us immediately if a student is unable to attend so that another student on our waiting list can attend class. A refund equal to half of tuition paid will be granted for cancellations made three weeks before class start date. No refunds for cancellations made less than three weeks prior to class start date.
