Evenings for Educators is now on Wednesdays! This fall, join us for an in-person exploration of The World Made Wondrous: The Dutch Collector’s Cabinet and the Politics of Possession, which looks at both art objects and natural specimens from around the globe and considers the act of collecting from a transhistorical perspective. Enjoy a lecture, workshops, and dinner, and connect with fellow teachers from across Los Angeles County for an evening to remember.
Agenda
4:30–5 pm: Arrive, check in, and explore the galleries
5–5:50pm: Lecture in BCAM, Level 1, with curator Diva Zumaya
6–6:50 pm: Workshops throughout campus
6:50–7:30 pm: Dinner on the Smidt Welcome Plaza
7:30–8 pm: Explore the galleries
We are raffling off docent-led tours of The World Made Wondrous to all ticket holders! Enter the raffle by October 25 for the chance to win a tour for your students. There are a limited number of tours available, and only Evenings for Educators ticket holders are eligible.
Parking is available in the Pritzker Parking Garage on 6th Street and tickets will be validated at registration. Dinner and parking is included with admission.
