Unleash your imagination in our drop-in art studio and unwind in our cozy reading corner. Projects you can make include mini ofrendas (altars) from October 4–November 8 and mini piñatas from November 15–December 20.
The display Queridos, Siempre en mi Mente (Loved Ones, Always on My Mind) is also on view through November 8. It includes ofrendas created by local community members alongside a central ofrenda by artist Gloria Wescott honoring the life and music of Juan Gabriel.
This event is hosted by NexGenLA, LACMA's free membership for kids under 17 years who live in L.A. County. As NexGenLA members, kids and teens can visit the museum for free anytime and bring one guest for free admission.
