Ninth R.L. Shep Triennial Symposium on Textiles and Dress: Fashioning Chinese Women and Reiko Sudo

The Ninth R.L. Shep Triennial Symposium on Textiles and Dress will begin with a morning talk between curator Michaela Hansen, art historian Mei Mei Rado, and textile collector Chere Mah, whose donations form the basis of the exhibition Fashioning Chinese Women. The afternoon talk will feature textile designer Reiko Sudō, whose exhibition Textile Alchemy will be on view later this year, and LACMA senior curator Sharon Takeda.
