Students will have a fun adventure engaging and participating in creating various art projects inspired by LACMA's diverse art collection. We will be using materials like paint, watercolors, oil pastels, ink, markers, and clay. Roll up your sleeves and get ready to dive into the fun world of art-making! Taught by Jesus Mascorro.
This program will take place indoors on LACMA's campus, Tuesday–Friday, December 26–29.
Jesus Mascorro is an artist currently based in Los Angeles. He received his BFA from Otis College of Art and Design with a minor in education. He has over 10 years of experience as a teaching artist and has taught for various art institutions and organizations throughout Los Angeles and New York City. His arts education philosophy is that anyone can rock it out in art, they just have to be willing to explore and dive into the art-making fearlessly.
Masks are strongly recommended indoors for everyone. Learn more about all of the museum's health and safety protocols.
