LACMA curators Erin Maynes and Claire Spadafora Baes discuss the works of early print masters, from Albrecht Dürer onward, exploring technique, craftsmanship, and innovation in block printing, and how these foundational practices shaped the development of printmaking in the exhibition Deep Cuts: Block Printing Across Cultures.
