Latin Sounds: Boogaloo Assassins

Spend your Saturday evenings with world-renowned artists performing everything from Indigenous music to the latest sounds from Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, and Los Angeles! These free concerts are presented Saturday evenings from Memorial Day weekend in May to Labor Day weekend in September. This week, join us for a concert with Boogaloo Assassins. 

Boogaloo Assassins are a Los Angeles–based 13-piece Latin band with a sound and style inspired by the Latin Boogaloo, Latin Soul, Salsa, and Latin Funk records of the past. A live music favorite since 2008, their independently released 2013 debut EP Old Love Dies Hard was inspired by the soulful Latin records of the 1960s. In 2016, the band joined the iconic Latin label FANIA Records.
