Jazz at LACMA: Robert Rodriguez Quartet

Celebrate L.A.'s finest jazz musicians with Jazz at LACMA, presented Friday evenings from May through October. This week, join us for a concert with the Robert Rodriguez Quartet.

Piano player, composer, and producer Rob Rodriguez's diverse career has included collaborations with his brother Michael, which earned them a Grammy nomination, as well as recordings with Joe Locke, Ray Baretto, Roy Hargrove, and Roy Haynes. He toured with famed trumpeter Arturo Sandoval, along with his own band and the Rodriguez Brothers band. As a composer he has been commissioned by ASCAP, Chamber Music America, and the New York Foundation for the Arts, and has composed nearly a dozen film scores for a variety of movies.
