Evenings for Educators: Wander the World, Highlights from the Pacific and Indian Ocean Galleries

Educators, join us at LACMA all year long as we explore artworks in the David Geffen Galleries, the new home of the museum’s permanent collection that the L.A. Times calls “radically alive.”
In March, come along on an exciting journey through the Pacific and Indian Ocean galleries. You’ll explore artworks from cultures connected to these two bodies of water and expand your understanding of cultural exchange and movement. Choose a guided experience with one of our gallery educators, create your own unique path with the support of our self-guided tour materials, or participate in hands-on art-making workshops.
Guests will enjoy a special talk, tours, workshops, and dinner. Dinner and parking is included with admission.
Agenda
4:30–5 pm: Arrive, check in, and explore the David Geffen Galleries
5–5:40 pm: Lecture in BCAM, Level 1
5:50–6:50 pm: Workshops and tours throughout campus
6:50–7:30 pm: Dinner on the Smidt Welcome Plaza
7:30–8 pm: Explore the David Geffen Galleries
