Inspired by Mariana Castillo Deball’s monumental artwork Feathered Changes, LACMA presents L.A. Dance Project and Paris Dance Project's City of Dance, a one‑hour work set to Philip Glass’s Koyaanisqatsi. With choreography from five internationally acclaimed choreographers performed by 14 dancers, the piece animates public spaces across Los Angeles and explores art’s nuanced role in cosmopolitan community spaces, both ancient and modern, from Teotihuacan to Paris to Los Angeles.
