At this camp, we'll explore artworks in LACMA's galleries and around the museum's campus to help guide our own art-making journeys, then experiment with a variety of materials and techniques, combining them to create intriguing mixed media pieces. From printmaking with unique patterns to mobile-phone photography to drawing to stitching, you’ll leave with inspiring new tools of self expression. Taught by artist Elly Dallas.
Materials can reinforce subject matter or emotion in our art practice. During this camp, you'll explore materials, with each decision an opportunity to learn something new and the process of creation being the most important thing. Taught by artist Bianca Argueta.
