Featured Video: Where the Truth Lies: The Art of Qiu Ying // Exhibition Highlights

Few artists in Chinese history have proven as enigmatic as the great Ming dynasty painter Qiu Ying (c. 1494–c. 1552), whose life and art reveal a series of paradoxes. In this video Stephen Little, LACMA’s Florence and Harry Sloan Curator of Chinese Art, shares highlights from the first exhibition on Qiu Ying ever organized outside of Asia.

LACMA's Artists on Art videos offer insights into works in the museum's encyclopedic collection that have inspired and informed artists working today.
