Celebrate L.A.'s finest jazz musicians with Jazz at LACMA, presented Friday evenings from May through October. Vocalist and composer Michelle Coltrane will kick off the 35th season of Jazz at LACMA and celebrate the John Coltrane Centennial.
In addition to her recording career, Coltrane furthers her parents’ legacy, serving as artistic director of the John & Alice Coltrane Home and through her oral history touring projects at venues across the country. She has performed and collaborated with artists such as Scott Hiltzik, Shea Walsh, Kenny Kirkland, Billy Childs, and the McCoy Tyner Trio.
