Spend your Saturday evenings with world-renowned artists performing everything from Indigenous music to the latest sounds from Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, and Los Angeles! These free concerts are presented Saturday evenings from Memorial Day weekend in May to Labor Day weekend in September.
This week, join us for a concert with Conjunto Oye!
Created in 2004, Conjunto Oye! is a preeminent salsa orchestra specializing in classic Nuyorican salsa with exhilarating five-horn harmonies. Lead vocalist Roosevelt Cordova has sung with virtually every major salsa band in L.A., garnering him the title “El Presidente of Salsa.” The group serves up highly energized traditional Cuban music brewed with a Puerto Rican flavor ranging from Tito Puente’s classic mambo to modern salsa.
