Live Art: Chalk Drawings Inspired by Village Square

In the spirit of art and community found in the exhibition Village Square: Gifts of Modern Art from the Pearlman Collection to the Brooklyn Museum, LACMA, and MoMA, chalk artists will recreate a version of Edouard Manet's Young Woman in a Round Hat (c. 1877–79) outdoors on LACMA campus. Drop in as the artwork is created live and watch as a 19th-century portrait takes new form.
This exhibition was co-organized by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Brooklyn Museum.
