LACMA offers in-person art classes for kids! Classes are designed for two different age groups: ages 6–8 and 9–12.
Designed for ages 13–15, teen classes encourage young artists to experiment and develop their own personal style. Teens ages 16 and older may join adult classes.
The perfect gift! Do you know someone who would love to learn a new art skill but hasn’t taken the leap? Get them started by gifting them a class! You can even take a class together. Gift certificates can be used toward any upcoming art class, including one-day workshops and five-week sessions.
Gift certificates can be purchased over the phone, through the Ticket Office at 323 857-6010.
Gift certificates may not be redeemed for cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Pre-registration is required for class enrollment.
In order to make art classes accessible to diverse communities, LACMA is offering scholarships to promising students for this program. All students are encouraged to apply, including QTBIPOC participants, those who do not have the financial means to attend, and others who bring diverse perspectives.
