Collecting Impressionism at LACMA tracks the evolution of one of the most beloved parts of the museum's collection over the past century and how artists, collectors, and curators shaped its growth.
At this walkthrough, LACMA curators Leah Lehmbeck and David Bardeen discuss the exhibition, the collection's relationship to a developing city, and how our understanding of Impressionism itself has changed over time.
This program is free with museum admission and RSVP is encouraged.
